Statesboro & Southeast Bulloch to present, "A Night of One Acts" on Oct. 22

Theater performance flyerSoutheast Bulloch High School's and Statesboro High School's fine arts students will team up to present, "A Night of One Acts," on Tuesday, October 22, at 7 p.m., in the Southeast Bulloch High School Auditorium. General admission tickets are $5 and are available for purchase at the door prior to the performances.

 

Statesboro High's drama students will present Harold Piltner's, "A Kind of Alaska." The play, which first debuted in London in 1982, with Dame Judi Dench as the lead actress, details the antics of Deborah, a middle-aged woman who has been comatose for 30 years. She awakes with her teenage mind intact, but a body that's aged without her consent. The cast is under the direction of SHS Drama Teacher Eddie Frazier.

 

Southeast Bulloch High's acting troupe will present B. Dwayne Craft's comedy, "The Perfect Ending." Set in the 1950s, Mother has a meatloaf in the oven, and it will be a perfect dinner party if the end of the world doesn't stand in her way. The cast is under the direction of SEBHS Drama Teacher Joni Mock.
